Methodology & editorial policy

We publish benchmarks and statistics for social commerce from verified primary sources. Here is exactly how we work.

Editorial policy §01–§06
  1. §01

    Who pays us

We are not an agency and belong to no tool. We mention tools only when relevant — neutrally, with pros and cons. No coverage can be bought.

  2. §02

    Fact-checking

Every number carries a source and a year. We avoid "studies show" without a concrete link, and we flag data that is contested.

  3. §03

    Sources

We rely on open industry reports, public benchmarks and official platform data. We give ranges, not one "correct" figure.

  4. §04

    Authors

Every article is signed by a real author with experience in the topic. Their bio is visible on the article and in their profile.

  5. §05

    Updates

We review and update our content; the last-updated date shows on every article. We replace stale numbers rather than leave them as is.

  6. §06

    Corrections

Spotted an error? We fix it and, if it is material, note the correction in the article. Accuracy beats speed.

How we label our data
  • Primary

An original study or a platform’s own official figures.

  • Self-reported

Numbers a platform reports about itself — flagged separately.

  • Forecast

An analyst estimate of the future — a projection, not a fact.

  • Range

We give a range, not a single “correct” number.
